BANANA FRITTERS / NENTHRAM PAZAM BHAJJI

We tasted this in Guruvayoor , we liked this. We don't use maida in home, but this recipe called for it so i have to. I borrowed camera form my friend. Thanks to her. I was not so happy to use maida but it was tasty.






INGREDIENTS

Nenthram Pazham  - 1

Maida  1 cup

Sugar - 1/4 cup

yellow colour - one pinch

salt - one pinch

oil for frying




METHOD


Mix all the ingredients and make like a paste.

Dip the banana pieces and fry it in oil.

I also made mango bajji also.

The first time I had this was as a kid on a trip to Kerala.They call it Palzham pori.IT was yum.Your post reminds me of that trip and the fun we had.Looks yum

When the dish is deep fried, its hardly healthy, though very tasty! So I dont think you should bother too much about using Maida :)
