PAV BHAJI
I learnt this recipe from my friend bhawana, i made it for my daughters birthday, everybody liked it. Since it contains lots of vegetables , this is one of my favourite snack for the evening. My kids love it.
Ingredients
Pav Buns – 6
Butter for toasting
Onions – 2
Tomato – 3
Ginger Garlic paste – 1tbsp
Carrot – 2
Peas – ½ cup
Potato – 3
Cauliflower – 10 florets
Capsicum – 1
Chili powder – 1 tbsp
Pav bhaji masala – 1 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Oil
Method
1. Boil all the vegetables and mash them.
2. Finely chop onions and tomatoes.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add the onions, when it becomes translucent add ginger garlic paste.
4. When the raw smell goes and the tomatoes.
5. When it leaves oil, add the chili powder, pav bhaji masala and salt.
6. Saute well, add the mashed vegetables, and little water.
7. Cook until it blends nicely, and garnish with coriander.
1.Cut the pav buns in to half and toast with butter.
Serve hot. I usually carry forward the balance with rotis.
