RAW PLAINTAIN CURRY

Ingredients

Raw plantain – 1
Multipurpose powder – 1 ½ tbs
Salt to taste
Oil mustard seeds, urad dhall, curry leaves for seasoning


Method

1. Peel the skin of plantain and cut into cubes
2. Heat oil in a pan and pop up mustard seeds, urad dhall and curry leaves.
3. Add the plantain cubes and let it cook. ( you can microwave the plantain cubes if you want to use less oil)
4. After the plantain is cooked add the curry powder , salt , hing
leave it for sometime and you can transfer it to some serving dish.

Its nice.But how the raw plaintain came out as a single piece after cooking.That is not coming for me.Wont u put it in water while cutting.Its grtting smashed fo me

hi jeaysri, thanx. i also cut the plantain and put in water only. then i will drain nicely before cooking. i will usually microwave to avoid much oil.
