CAULIFLOWER PAKODA / MANCHURIAN

This pakoda or manchurian is my daughter's favourite. She was asking to make this whenever I buy cauliflower. I was avoiding it, since it is deepfried. At last I have to make it when I was running out of ideas for evening snack. She was so.. happy.

Ingredients

Cauliflower – 1
Besan – ½ cup
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Chili powder – 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste – ½ tsp ( optional)
Salt to taste
Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
Method

1. Combine besan, corn flour, chili powder, ginger garlic paste, tomato sauce and salt , add water and make a thick batter.
2. cut the cauliflower into big florets , wash it and microwave for 3 mts..
3. Heat oil in a pan and dip the cauliflower and deep fry.

Serve with sauce.
